SSD drives are excellent for web pages and projects with a high volume of dynamic content or which require fast data access.

Your Virtual Dedicated Server includes a direct link to our premium backbone. Our premium backbone distinguishes itself through a variety of tier 1 carriers and direct peering (interconnection) with all relevant DSL and cable providers (including Deutsche Telekom, Kabel Deutschland and Unitymedia). This connection is especially suited for latency-critical services and game server providers. In contrast to other providers, webtropia.com provides unlimited traffic—without throttling—with a guaranteed peak bandwidth of 200 Mbit.

Management

Webtropia.com customer management makes it possible for you to manage your VD Server easily. Here you have the option to reinstall your server, to reboot and, if necessary, to start the server in rescue mode. And, you can register and manage domains easily, as well as setup DNS entries. If you need additional IPs, these can be ordered conveniently, quickly and easily through customer management. .

Monitoring

Monitor your Virtual Dedicated Server around the clock and get an overview of the data transfer your server has generated at a glance. All data can be observed and evaluated at any time. In the event of a VDS failure, you will be notified by email. Optionally you can order an SMS package and be notified via SMS.

Brand name hardware

Webtropia.com's Virtual Dedicated Server are equipped exclusively with brand name hardware from HP. The foundation of the Root Server products are HP ProLiant DL380 Gen8 and HP Proliant DL380 Gen9 brand servers from Hewlett-Packard.

Low-cost IP addresses

At webtropia.com you can lease your Virtual Dedicated Server IPv4 addresses for the low price of €1/month. If the IPv4 addresses included are not sufficient for your needs, webtropia.com offers the option to extend the number of IP addresses for all dedicated and VD Server. In compliance with the directive 2006/112/EC in the modified version, starting 1.1.2015 prices can vary depending on the country of residence of the customer (the prices in the offers are prices for the Federal Republic of Germany and include VAT). If your place of residence is not in Germany, the prices are net.
